Trump Taj Mahal first came into the news in the year 2014 regarding its closing because of its parent company going bankrupt but ultimately it didn’t get closed and remained opened under the new ownership of Icahn Enterprises. But didn’t stayed for long and ultimately on August 3, 2016, it was officially announced that the Trump Taj Mahal will be shut down after Labor Day. Trump Taj Mahal closing date was October 10, 2016.

According to the news, Trump Taj Mahal will be sold now possibly at a loss as the Atlantic City Mayor stated that his “struggling city can not afford such a huge piece of its Boardwalk lie vacant”. Hence, it will be sold finally.
